Robotics Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer with a strong background in robotics to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating robotic systems and providing training to other team members.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and operate robotic systems, ensuring their optimal performance. Train team members in the use of robotic systems, focusing on both mechanical and software aspects. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to robotics and automation. Collaborate with team members to design and implement robotic solutions. Utilize welding skills to support the integration and maintenance of robotic systems.

Essential Skills:

BS in Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with KUKA robotics. Proficiency in robotics and automation. Strong skills in PLC programming and mechanical engineering. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with Welding and 3D printing is preferred. Familiarity with WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) is highly preferred.

Work Environment:

This position is based on-site on the production floor and requires a commitment of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 7 AM to 6 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Portsmouth, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
