Operating on a zero-monotony model, every project is a custom engineering challenge—spanning robotic cells, high-speed sorting networks, and multi-axis servo motion systems. You will take full project ownership, watch your code command massive physical machinery, and share directly in the company's financial success through profit sharing and bonuses. What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)Design Scratch PLC/HMI Code:
Develop robust PLC logic and intuitive HMI interfaces from scratch for complex, custom automation systems, material handling lines, and robotic cells.Configure Motion & Vision Systems:
Integrate multi-axis servo drives, EtherNet/IP communication protocols, machine safety architectures, and industrial vision platforms.Review Electrical Schematics:
Collaborate with CAD designers to review electrical schematics, verifying panel layouts against BOMs and safety regulations.Champion Field Startups:
Lead on-site customer startups and commissioning sequences (25- 50% domestic travel), ensuring seamless system integration.
Optional High-Level Integration:
Incorporate C#, VB.NET, or SQL database connections for clients requiring enterprise-level data integration. What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications) 2+ years of controls engineering experience writing Allen-Bradley PLC logic (Studio 5000 / RSLogix) and HMI interfaces from scratch (not just editing existing code blocks).Engineering Education:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.Field Readiness & Balance:
Ability to travel 25- 50% domestically for system commissioning, backed by guaranteed comp days for weekend field time.
