About the Role As a Field Robotics Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for the operational integrity and performance of advanced autonomous vehicle fleets. You will drive system uptime and efficiency by performing complex diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on cutting-edge robotic material handling systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on robotic vehicle fleets, utilizing electrical schematics and diagnostic tools to resolve complex mechanical and software anomalies. Perform rigorous system inspections and equipment upgrades to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities, parts usage, and labor hours within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Collaborate with on-site personnel and control center teams to commission new robotic units and integrate them into existing automated structures. Proactively communicate system-impacting issues to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and estimated timelines for corrective maintenance. Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to strict lockout/tagout (LOTO) and fall protection protocols while working in elevated or restrictive spaces. Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical automation systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to work independently in remote field locations. Ability to travel up to 100% of the time to support various customer installations. Preferred Skills Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, automation, or a related manufacturing field. Prior experience with industrial robot programming or vehicle computer control systems. Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor team members and manage on-site technical operations.
