full-time Position Overview Our client is an innovative humanoid robotics company focused on developing autonomous robots powered by artificial intelligence. They are seeking Data Creators to support robot training by performing human movements while wearing motion-capture equipment. The movement data collected is used to train and improve robotic systems. This is a hands-on, physically active role and can be an excellent entry point into the robotics industry, with growth opportunities into senior and lead positions. Schedule This is a 24/7 operation with rotating shifts:
Day Shift:
6:30 AM
•3:00
PM Swing Shift:
2:30 PM
•11:00
PM Night Shift:
10:30 PM
•7:00 AM Responsibilities Wear motion-capture sensor equipment and perform repetitive movements such as walking, lifting, reaching, and carrying for extended periods. Follow established movement procedures precisely to ensure high-quality data collection. Assist with setup, removal, and maintenance of motion-capture equipment. Identify and report hardware issues, bugs, or process improvements. Meet daily productivity goals while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Follow safety and ergonomic guidelines in a physically demanding environment. Must-Have Qualifications Able to perform repetitive physical movements for up to 8+ hours per shift. Strong coordination, body awareness, and attention to detail. Quick learner with the ability to master new physical tasks. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable receiving coaching and feedback. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various sites throughout the Bay Area and occasionally Los Angeles. Comfortable working in a startup environment with changing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Background in electronics, mechanical work, IT support, fabrication, manufacturing, or other hands-on technical fields. Hardware or software troubleshooting experience. Experience using VR headsets or extensive gaming experience. Exposure to robotics, automation, or motion-capture technology. Military experience. Strong interest in robotics and emerging technology. Ideal Candidate Profile This role is a great fit for individuals with strong hand-eye coordination, a technical or hands-on background, and an interest in robotics. Candidates from manufacturing, assembly, military, warehouse operations, automotive, electronics repair, IT support, gaming, athletics, or physical labor environments tend to transition well into this position.
