Teaching Experience:
1 year (Preferred) • Full Job Description We are looking for passionate Robotic and Coding Instructors to teach children from ages 4-13 in after-school programs, weekend workshops, and camps. We maintain a low teacher-student ratio (about 1:6) where possible, and keep students and instructors together throughout an entire course for a meaningful experience. We offer training on instructing students, mastering new high tech tools, and learning about tech trends and other high-end robotic education resources. If you are passionate about working with children and technology, this is the place for you! Hours are flexible! Classes mainly occur on weekday afternoons and weekend mornings and afternoons. Great for educators who want some extra hours after their daycare, or school programs and want to make a difference in even more students' lives! As a Robotics Coach your responsibilities will include: Instructing children in classes Assisting with marketing events and curriculum creation Communication with parents, i.e. sharing their children's successes! Helping with daily operations of the lab Take students to competitions. Manage competition team training, make training plans, and execute plans.
Requirements:
Have experience in STEM and working with children. You must love working with kids! A passion for Technology and Education.
Bonus points if you:
Have experience in robotics, coding, outreach, or at an after-school program. Have past experience working at a technology company or start-up. Are preschool or elementary school teachers looking for extra hours in the afternoon.
Pay:
Up to $25.00 per hour
