$21.50 / hour Position Summary This internship opportunity initially involves supporting the integration of large, custom robotic welding systems including mechanical and electrical assembly. Exemplary candidates will have the opportunity to advance into Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Applications Engineering departments.
Note:
candidates must be actively enrolled in a relevant educational program, such as Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, etc., to qualify. Job Responsibilities Mechanical and electrical assembly/troubleshooting Team-oriented collaboration Interest to work "hands-on" in the assembly and testing area Punctual and reliable performance Participation in Continuous Improvement Process Job Requirements Strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to follow instructions Tenacious problem solver Exceptional work ethic Strong organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly Interest in interpreting electrical and mechanical prints Experience with hand and machine tools: drills, wrenches, screw drivers, band saws, mills, and lathes Basic SolidWorks modeling Familiarity with
GMAW, GTAW
