$21.50 / hour Position Summary The Robot Integration Intern supports the assembly, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and programming of custom robotic welding automation systems. Interns work directly with technicians, robotic welding programmers, production engineers, and controls personnel in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This internship is intended to develop future technical talent for full-time careers as Assembly Technicians or Robotic Welding Programmers.
Note:
candidates must be actively enrolled in a relevant educational program, such as Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Manufacturing Technology, etc., to qualify. Job Responsibilities Assist with mechanical assembly of custom robotic welding systems and automation equipment. Assist with electrical assembly, wiring, and system debug / testing activities. Support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of ABB and FANUC robotic systems. Work alongside robotic welding programmers during offline and online programming activities. Participate in factory acceptance testing and system demonstrations. Help identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic system issues. Follow all safety requirements and standard work procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Job Requirements Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
