Sr. Mechanical & Robotics Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Sr. Mechanical & Robotics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment such as conveyors. This role also involves completing preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures, as well as performing battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries. Responsibilities Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment. Complete preventative maintenance routines and related documentation. Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries. Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets. Apply electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and identify equipment problems. Track and store department inventory, including spare parts. Essential Skills Industrial maintenance expertise. Experience in equipment maintenance and diagnostic testing. Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Knowledge of lockout, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and motors. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience in predictive and preventative maintenance. Experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial industries. Preferred experience with conveyors and complex systems maintenance. Candidates with an associate degree, apprenticeship, certifications, or military training in a related field are preferred. Work Environment The role is based in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Candidates should be comfortable with performance tracking systems and be prepared to walk up to 10,000 steps per day. Applicants must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bondurant, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
