Full-Time | Contract Job Overview We are hiring a Robot Service Technician to support the production, maintenance, and repair of autonomous delivery robots. This hands-on role combines mechanical and electrical assembly, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and field support to keep robotic systems operating reliably. This position is ideal for technicians with automotive, manufacturing, or mechanical repair experience who enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, and mechanical components Install and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors Perform routine maintenance and repairs on autonomous delivery robots Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, investigate breakdowns, and complete service campaigns Test and troubleshoot suspension systems, batteries, and other hardware components Provide field support at local locations as needed Assist with rapid prototyping, testing, and inventory management Support engineering with research and development activities Requirements Experience using mechanical and electrical tools and measuring equipment Experience assembling and disassembling mechanical and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 12 months Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in field environments Strong communication skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive, manufacturing, dealership service, or similar technical environments Experience working with AC/DC electrical systems and custom electronic modules Soldering experience Advanced computer skills Experience supporting robotics or prototype hardware Schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (subject to change based on business needs) Benefits Employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage Pre-tax commuter benefits Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employer-covered disability and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Additional company-sponsored benefits Additional Details Onsite role in Lexington, KY Must be authorized to work in the United States Local travel may be required to support field operations
