  • Working knowledge of sensors, motors, drives, safety circuits, pneumatic systems, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment problems systematically and perform repairs in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams. ## Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting automation or robotics in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience programming, teaching, troubleshooting, or recovering industrial robots.
  • Siemens PLC experience.
  • Experience with automated assembly equipment, conveyors, testing systems, or Poka-Yoke/error-proofing systems.
  • Experience supporting equipment launches, installations, or major equipment modifications.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance practices.
I would specifically call out Siemens as preferred, not required. Your Seating overview says FORVIA Seating facilities heavily use Siemens controls, while also noting that Siemens talent is harder to find in the U.S. than Allen-Bradley talent. Making Siemens mandatory would unnecessarily shrink your candidate pool.
