About the Role Are you mechanically inclined and looking to launch a career in advanced manufacturing? We are seeking a motivated Junior Field Service Technician to join our team, where you will gain hands-on experience installing and maintaining complex CNC machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to develop technical expertise through a structured training program while supporting our clients' production goals. Responsibilities Travel to client facilities to assist in the installation, calibration, and repair of industrial CNC equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize operational downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Utilize technical schematics and service manuals to diagnose complex equipment faults effectively. Maintain clear communication with customers regarding service progress and resolution steps. Document all service activities, including repairs and installations, to maintain accurate equipment records. Participate in ongoing technical training and safety seminars to stay current with evolving manufacturing technologies. Qualifications Required Skills Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical or electrical maintenance through school, internships, or hands-on work. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Basic proficiency with hand tools and precision measurement instruments. Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. Valid driver's license and a professional, customer-focused mindset. Preferred Skills Prior experience or coursework in CNC machinery, automation, or industrial robotics. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools. Experience working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
