Robotics Technician Job Description As a Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and upgrades on robots returning from the field. This role requires a strong electro-mechanical aptitude, as you will be expected to conduct electrical wiring and mechanical work on the robots. Your duties will include diagnosing and troubleshooting to ensure parts and repairs are functioning correctly. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged equipment and robots. Perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting. Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic tests, troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures. Contribute to the development of test procedures and maintain good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair areas. Develop proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions. Essential Skills Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical skills with over 5 years of experience in assembly and troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in troubleshooting, robotics, and electrical tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications 4 or more years of mechanical assembly experience. Technician experience in mechanical and electrical fields. Automotive knowledge is a plus. Self-motivated and highly organized. Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods. Understanding of various types of mechanical and electrical test equipment. Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints. Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation. Why Work Here?
