Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable Robot Technician to support the operation and maintenance of robotic equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals starting their careers in automation and robotics, offering hands-on experience with industrial robots and production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of robotic systems on the production line Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on robots and related equipment Identify and report equipment malfunctions or performance issues Support in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control system problems Help with minor repairs, adjustments, and part replacements Monitor system performance and ensure production runs smoothly Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Document maintenance tasks and system issues accurately
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge Interest in robotics, automation, or manufacturing technology Ability to read basic blueprints, diagrams, or technical instructions Strong willingness to learn and take direction
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience through internships, vocational training, or lab work Exposure to industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA) Basic understanding of PLCs or automated control systems
Skills and Competencies:
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious Basic computer skills for documentation and system interfaces
Work Environment:
Automotive manufacturing plant with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures Requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs May require shift work, overtime, and weekend availability

INDL Pay:
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour
