  • Part-time Roboworx , a division of ARO is looking to hire an On-Call Robotics Field Technician, in the Columbus, OH area.
This is an On-Call position which will start off on an as needed basis. Interested in Robotics? Roboworx is an agnostic service provider that partners with different robotic companies to provide Support Services for all types of robots. We are currently seeking customer service oriented individuals for entry level On-Call field technicians that are looking to enter the robotics space. Your role may involve installing robots at customer sites, supporting existing robots through regular maintenance, responding to service calls, troubleshooting, training customers, and working with leadership to promote overall client success and adoption of customer's autonomous solutions. Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical devices and high attention to detail. They should be familiar with basic tools and have experience using those tools. Opportunity to move to full time depending on growth within your area.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ability to assure top level customer service. Proactive approach to customer success and user adoption of robots. Work with Roboworx partners and leadership to install and support robots at client locations. This can include unpacking, inspection, assembly, set up, mapping, and training of customer staff. Reports and communicates effectively to Management. Ability to train and re-train customer staff during scheduled preventative maintenance visits. Initial troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues. Work remotely with Sr. Technicians for resolution if necessary. Operating of power and manual tools Safe use and care of equipment Run diagnostics on robots and identify any issues. Maintaining and cleaning of robots Perform preventative maintenance on products in the field at customer locations
Required Skills/Abilities:
Self-motivated:
able to work with minimal supervision  A mechanical and electrical aptitude  Must be at least 18 years old to apply  Reliable transportation  Customer service focused  Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds  Robotics experience a plus but not required. Will train.  Ability to travel
Education and Experience:
All applicants need a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
