Job Description

Are you an elite Robotics Tech ready to step into leadership? We are looking for a heavy-hitting Lead Robotics Technician to anchor our automation team in Duncan, SC. If you know robot programming inside and out, love troubleshooting complex automated lines, and are ready to manage and mentor a small, talented team of robot programmers-we want to talk to you. This isn't just a maintenance gig; you will be the go-to technical leader driving our commissioning, optimization, and throughput.
salary:
$50,000 - $62,400 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 5
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilitiesAble to support, manage and mentor a small team of robot programmers
  • Downloading OLP s (Offline Programs)
  • Setting up Communication with the PLC and peripheral equipment
  • Robot zone setup and dress pack adjustment
  • Robot I/O Configuration
  • Robot Mastering, TCP verification, and Payload setup
  • Auto Debug with PLC and troubleshooting
  • Cycle time reduction and throughput improvement
  • Experience with Spot, Sealing/Dispensing, Stud, MIG, Riveting, Flow Drills, Clinch Guns, and all associated Pedestal Applications with Material Handlers.
  • Experience with Vision is a plus
  • Experience with KUKA SafeOperation, Fanuc
DCS, ABB
SafeMove, and Kawasaki Cubic-S Experience with one or more of the following robots is extremely favorable - Kawasaki, Fanuc, ABB, Nachi, KUKA, Motoman or Comau.

The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesstanding for 8 hours at one timeSkillsOLP (2 years of experience is required)PLC Set-Up (2 years of experience is required)Robot Configuration (2 years of experience is preferred)Robot Zone Set-up (2 years of experience is required)KUKA Safe Operation (1 year of experience is preferred)Fanuc DCS (1 year of experience is preferred)
