Tri-County Technical College's Engineering and Industrial Technology Division is seeking applicants for the Part-Time/Temporary Industrial Technology Lab Assistant position. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the preparation and maintenance of lab space used by students in the CNC department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of all laboratory areas across four Tri-County Technical College locations where Industrial Technology courses are offered to include, Pendleton, Oconee, Anderson, and Williamston Career and Technology Center (Anderson School Districts One and Two). The successful candidate will have an understanding of 5S and ensure that all laboratory areas are both 5S and safety compliant; maintain teaching laboratory supplies to include ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies; repair and or send out technology for repair to include working with vendors in regards to technical assistance; and other duties as assigned by Program Coordinators. The successful candidate must be able to move and lift heavy equipment, and be willing and able to drive a College vehicle along with industrial equipment such as a forklift. A high school diploma and work experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting. Must be able to move and lift heavy equipment. Associate's degree in a related field such as, CNC and/or Mechatronics with relative maintenance experience.
