Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Robotic Programmer / Robot Operato r to support a Miller welding cell on 1st shift . This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow long-term, as the company is willing to train the right individual-even without prior robotic programming experience. Attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Operate and support a robotic welding cell (Miller) Program robots using a VR-based programming environment Monitor production runs and ensure quality standards are met Troubleshoot basic robotic and welding issues Collaborate with operations and engineering teams Participate in ongoing training and skill development Training & Development Extensive training ramp-up over several months Hands-on training for robotic programming and/or welding Formal off-site training opportunity in Chicago Strong long-term investment in employee development Required & Preferred Qualifications No prior robotic programming experience required (training provided) Willingness and aptitude to learn robotics and automation MIG and/or TIG welding experience is a plus (training available if needed) Gaming experience is a plus, as programming is VR-based Strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude Schedule & Work Environment Consistent 1st shift schedule with no shift rotation Occasional Saturday work as needed (approximately two Saturdays per month) Fully on-site role in a manufacturing environment Schedule designed to support work-life balance
