Robotics Technician

Job Title:

Robotics Technician / Deployment Operations Specialist Role Overview This role bridges customers, product, and engineering teams to ensure robotic systems deliver consistent value in real-world environments. You will lead deployments, testing, and daily operations at customer sites while helping build scalable processes for pilots and R D in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead deployment and testing of robotic systems from concept through pilot Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to execute projects Support and train field operations staff Identify and resolve project issues, escalating as needed Manage lab inventory to support pilots and testing Oversee daily operations at customer sites to ensure system performance Track and report key metrics such as system health and task success Perform QA validation using test equipment and documentation Troubleshoot mechanical and robotic issues Support offsite deployments, including equipment handling when needed Develop standardized processes to scale pilots and R D efforts Adapt quickly to changing priorities and support various operational needs

Required Skills:

2+ years in testing environments with physical products or equipment Experience with QA validation and test equipment Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with mechanical or robotic systems Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple tasks Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Comfortable in fast-paced, changing environments Familiarity with robotics or technical operations Valid U.S. driver's license Ability to work in varied environments and lift up to 40 lbs with assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in logistics, operations, or project management Background in customer site operations and performance reporting Experience with robotics in pilot or R D settings Military or other structured environment experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
