Summary:
The Robotic Technician will provide daily operational support for automated production lines by ensuring equipment is functioning properly. This role is responsible for troubleshooting issues, making equipment/program changes as needed, and performing preventive and repair maintenance on assigned automated equipment. Shift /
Schedule:
2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:00
AM Responsibilities:
Support daily production operations of all automated cells Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment as needed Make equipment and program modifications as requested by operations Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment Support daily problem-solving efforts with operations Develop and support improvement projects based on production issues Maintain dotted-line communication/responsibility to the line supervisor Work on other assigned projects as needed
Requirements:
2-3 years of robotic technician experience Experience using multiple hand tools Experience building, maintaining, testing, and repairing robotics Background in hardware, electronics, and circuitry Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels Ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Robotic programming experience Technical certification or technical degree preferred Physical /
Environmental Conditions:
Daily exposure to shop conditions, which are variable depending on the task assigned, but are generally dirty. Is subject to shop noise. Involves extensive standing, bending, kneeling, climbing and walking. Skin and eyes are subject to drying and irritating fumes, vapors and solutions controlled to OSHA standards. Works both in and out of doors, normally indoors, with sometimes dusty or confining work areas when in the shop/lab.
