Summer Robotics & Coding Instructor

Who We Are Looking For:

College students (Junior level or above) pursuing a degree in any STEM field. Must have some experience with coding (any language)

What We Do:

We teach kids of ages 6 to 18 how to build robots, circuits, and code (in Scratch & Python)! Our goal is to help kids solve problems using: Microcontrollers like Arduinos and Raspberry Picos. Hardware components like Ultrasonic Distance Sensors, Lasers, joysticks, LEDs, and motors.

Project Include:

RC Car, Robotic Cranes, Tollway gates, Laser Security Systems, moving Robots, & much more.

What You Will Do:

Guide kids through hands-on robotics and coding projects based on given instructions. Solve 2 types of issues by comparing kids' projects with working solutions: (1) Circuits, and also (2) Code (Scratch and/or Python) Troubleshoot and solve technical problems as they arise. Clearly explain to kids how to fix their issues so they can learn and succeed.

Job Details:

Training:

Full training will be provided. Some previous Coding is required.

Schedule:

Summer months of June and July, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Can be flexible in certain weeks based on your availability.

Pay:

$16 - $20 an hour (based on your skill level).
