Job Description

The Engineering Support Technician - 3 works independently throughout the manufacturing plants to analyze, modify, and build machines, tools, fixtures, jigs, templates, and guards. This role collaborates with other technicians, tool room personnel, engineers, department managers, and operators during the analysis and implementation phases of various projects. Strong computer, mechanical and math aptitude. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to work with internal and external customers. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Problem-solving, adaptability, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate respectfully in a team setting. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. Training experience preferred. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings. Training timeline for this position is up to 12 weeks or more. Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including overtime as needed. Analyze, modify, and build machines, tools, fixtures, jigs, templates, and guards. Analyze and implement engineering projects. Troubleshoot engineering and maintenance issues. Maintain a valid powered industrial vehicle (PIV) license if applicable. Lead project teams and participate in process improvement workshops. Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including overtime as needed. Comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures. Rotate to other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
