- 20% Assist in development of pre-project approval documents including project charter, project management plan, project kick start, estimate and milestone schedule creation.
- 45% Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects.
Administrative / Business
support- 15% Monitor work output from less senior engineers on the project team as assigned by the department manager. Provide technical support to Factory operations. Will support and participate in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) as a part of their job responsibility within the Business Unit or assigned factory. Safety
- 10% Responsible for ensuring that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations and never implement any change, whether directly instructed to, or under your own initiative, without first questioning its impact in relation to product safety/quality, people safety and the environment. Qualifications / Certifications
Bachelors Degree Preferred Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills Ability to analyze data Ability to using problem solving techniques to resolve issues and implement change Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to complete major projects in a manufacturing environment. Ability to schedule resources effectively so continuous improvement is not sacrificed for day to day results. Additional consideration for those that are considered subject matter experts in a particular field of engineering (process, packaging, refrigeration, etc.) Coaching required from Factory Engineering Manager on regular basis. Critical Experiences Project Management experience 3 plus years, leading on projects less then $1 million. Leveraging PMI Project management institute stage gate procedures and tools. Basic knowledge in I & I pillar project methods.
