Position Responsibilities:

Manage multiple ongoing projects Create drawings using Carlson Survey to produce accurate drawings (including sketches and plats) Topographic Surveys, As-built surveys, Boundary Surveys, Site Plans etc., in support of our surveying and civil engineering dept. Compute coordinates for layout of construction plans using design plans and drawings, for use by the field survey crew Survey point management Deed & other record research Legal Description ( metes & bounds ) proficiency & understanding. Professional communication skills, including speaking, writing, and typing

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma with a minimum 2+ years in practical CAD drafting experience or Associates degree in Engineering / Surveying or compatible, with 1+ years practical survey experience or BS with 1+ yrs practical CAD drafting experience Computer aided drafting (CAD) experience in Carlson, Autodesk, Microstation, Intellicad or similar General computer knowledge and skills, keyboarding proficiency and extensive use of Microsoft Windows Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing software (i.e.. Word, Excel) Preferred Education /

Experience:

BS/AS in Engineering Technology, Technical Drawing OR similar Experience using Carlson Survey CAD software OR similar Basic training and/or experience with computation of construction plans Basic training and/or experience with drafting of as-builts & final plats Basic training and/or experience with drafting of topographical maps Experience reading design construction plans and drawings Experience reading architectural building plans Additional Position Requirements & details: A 40+ hour Monday thru Friday work week A standard work week is Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm and 3:00pm on Friday ( all times are Eastern )
