Job Description

Survey Technician (Office) TRACE Consulting, LLC is seeking to fill a full-time position for an entry-level Survey Technician (Office). The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, analytical, accountable, computer-savvy and have great attention to detail.
Typical Duties:
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to process survey field data for the preparation of topographic surveys and 3D surfaces
  • Perform construction layout and staking calculations
  • Prepare as-builts in AutoCAD or Bluebeam
  • Assist in preparing ALTA Surveys, Results of Surveys and legal descriptions
  • Assist in field surveying and support other civil engineering-related work
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years' experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, version 2018 or higher
  • Exposure to construction plans and processes
  • Entry-level experience working with survey field data and interpreting deeds
  • Entry-level experience with projects involving roadway, railroad and/or airport infrastructure construction, utility pipelines, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • MicroStation / InRoads experience preferred but not required
  • LSIT preferred but not required
