Job Title:
Survey CAD Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D to join our dynamic team. This role supports our Survey department by producing accurate maps and drawings, ensuring quality and precision in all outputs. Responsibilities Support the Survey department with the production of maps and drawings. Verify accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity of work prior to submission. Meet project deadlines, align with budgets, and maintain responsive communication with clients and the project team. Download and upload field data, and manage the technical production of maps and drawings using various software platforms. Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables, and archiving. Prepare drawings for various members of the project team. Coordinate with external parties as necessary for project requirements. Essential Skills 5 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Proficiency in survey computation, Trimble, GPS, boundary surveys, ALTA, topographic surveys, and construction staking. Ability to manage multiple project assignments simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in land surveying, design, and drafting. Familiarity with boundary survey software and GPS technology. Work Environment This position is based onsite in Newark, operating on a flexible schedule of four 9-hour days and a half day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, DE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
