Survey Technician (Office)

Role Summary We're looking for an office-based Survey Technician with a construction background to support construction modeling and layout deliverables . You'll prepare layout points, generate cut sheets, coordinate with contractors, and assist with field crews scheduling. What You'll Do Create construction layout point files from plans/models Assist with construction modeling Produce cut sheets Coordinate with contractors with stakeout scheduling Support scheduling and dispatching of field crews Organize and manage project files and revisions What We're Looking For (Required) Construction industry background (Surveyor, Civil Engineer, Estimator or related field) Strong computer skills and comfort working all day in CAD environments Ability to read and interpret civil/site plans (alignments, grades, offsets, utility profiles, etc.) Detail-oriented and ability to follow file management best practices CAD / modeling experience (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble Business Center) Prior survey setup experience Understanding of coordinate systems, control, and field layout workflow MESH Consulting, LLC is a consulting engineering and surveying firm specializing in 3D construction modeling for automated machine control and in construction stakeout.
