J-U-B Engineers, Inc. () is seeking a Senior Survey Technician / Land Survey Intern to support civil infrastructure and land development projects. In this role, you will assist with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, operate GPS/RTK and total station equipment, and collect accurate field data. You'll help process data, prepare survey maps and base files in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and coordinate closely with engineers and project managers. This position offers strong mentorship, growth toward licensure, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful community projects in an employee-owned, collaborative firm. Responsibilities Perform field surveys for boundary, topographic, and construction staking using GPS/RTK and total station equipment Collect, verify, and document accurate field survey data in accordance with company standards Process survey data and assist in developing survey basemaps and exhibits in Auto CAD/Civil 3 DSupport preparation of plats, legal descriptions, and survey reports for civil infrastructure and development projects Coordinate with project engineers, surveyors, and project managers to meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations Follow safety procedures and maintain survey instruments, vehicles, and field supplies Assist senior surveyors with research of records, control networks, and project setup for field crews Required Skills Land surveying field procedures Total station operation GPS/RTK surveying Auto CAD/Civil 3 D drafting Survey data processing Boundary and topographic surveys Construction staking Reading and interpreting plans Survey calculations and geometry Microsoft Office
