The Survey Technician supports licensed surveyors and survey crews by collecting accurate field data, operating surveying equipment, and assisting with survey calculations and documentation. This role may involve both field and office work depending on experience and project needs. Learn surveying field practice and procedures from senior survey staff. Assist survey crews with field data collection for boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, record drawing surveys and construction staking services. Basic ability to read and interpret survey maps, plats and drawings. Record field notes, sketches, and electronic data clearly and accurately. Locate and mark property corners, benchmarks, and control points. Perform basic survey calculations and data processing under supervision. Assist with downloading, organizing, and reviewing field data. Qualifications Must possess a valid driver's license. CST certification (preferred). AutoCAD Civil 3D experience (preferred).
