Job Description Role Overview:

• Office-based Survey Technician / CAD production role
• Heavy AutoCAD Civil 3D (≈80% of day)
• Focused on creating survey drawings and deliverables
• More of a "doer" / drafter vs reviewer
• NOT a legal/QC-heavy role

Day-to-Day:

• Create and edit survey drawings using Civil 3D
• Work with topographic surveys, boundary data, and maps
• Process field data into usable CAD deliverables
• Perform basic boundary calculations
• Produce survey plans, plats, and mapping outputs

• 3-5+ years of office survey experience
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D (core requirement, 80-90% of day to day)
• Experience with: ○ Topographic surveys ○ Boundary mapping ○ Survey plan production
• Understanding of survey workflows in an office setting
• ALTA, boundary, or plat production experience
• Exposure to land development or AEC environments
• Ability to work directly from field data to finished drawings
