Job Description

SurveyPros is currently seeking new crew members to join our team. A Land Survey Technician works under the supervision of a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Typical work week would include 3-4 days of field work and 1-2 days of office work.
Primary daily activities include:
GPS control surveys; topographic, location and boundary surveys; providing construction layout and staking at construction job sites.
Office work includes:
researching and obtaining GIS data, deeds, and various other property data; preparation of pre-survey search maps and computing search points; preparation of preliminary maps from data collected from field surveys; computing points for construction layout and staking from engineering plans. All inquiries will be kept confidential.
WE OFFER ON-THE-JOB TRAINING.
No previous surveying experience required.
Preferred:
Previous land surveying experience.
CANDIDATES WITH CAD EXPERIENCE ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and steep terrain. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and recording. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Physical fitness and the ability to carry surveying equipment and work on uneven ground. Ability to pass a drug test Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Limited travel.
