Job Description

We're looking for a Survey CAD Technician to join a well-established surveying and engineering team in Haddonfield, NJ. This role plays a key part in supporting a variety of private land development projects, working closely with project managers and field crews to produce accurate and detailed survey deliverables.
What You'll Do:
Draft and prepare survey plans, boundary and topographic maps, ALTA surveys, and construction stakeout plans. Process field data and convert it into high-quality CAD drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D (and occasional Carlson work). Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure precision and timely completion of projects. Maintain organized project files and documentation.
What We're Looking For:
Proficiency in Civil 3D (Carlson experience a plus). Prior experience preparing survey drawings for private land development projects. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Local candidates preferred — about 90% in-office with flexibility for 1 remote day per week.
Why Join:
You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values quality, mentorship, and growth. The office has a friendly, small-team feel while handling a steady stream of meaningful projects.
