Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Drafter I with expertise in Civil 3D to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will assist in translating survey data into precise, detailed drawings and plans that support infrastructure projects, land development, and civil engineering initiatives. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring accurate representations of survey information, facilitating smooth project workflows, and supporting the design and construction phases. Responsibilities Prepare detailed survey drawings and plans using Civil 3D software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Assist in the development of topographical maps, site layouts, and grading plans based on survey data. Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to interpret survey data and incorporate it into CAD drawings. Maintain organized records of survey data, drawings, and revisions for easy access and reference. Support the creation of schematic diagrams, construction documents, and system designs as needed. Utilize additional drafting tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit to enhance project deliverables. Contribute to the review of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for quality control before submission. Experience Prior experience or internship in civil drafting or surveying preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Proficiency in Civil 3D is required; familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is a plus. Knowledge of drafting standards related to civil engineering projects including schematics and construction documentation. Exposure to graphic design or 2D animation tools such as SketchUp or 3ds Max is advantageous for visual presentations. Basic understanding of system design, interior design concepts, mechanical design principles or related fields can be beneficial. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
