Your Impact at SAM As a Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry. You will help increase land survey project efficiency and client satisfaction by: CAD drafting to support various surveying projects (basemapping, topography, utilities, as-builts) Field to finish processing of field data files through Carlson Survey and/or Civil3D Carrying out initial QC of mapping products Coordinating with supervisor to produce CAD deliverables in client-specific or SAM standards Detail-oriented and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team What You Bring to SAM Minimum of one year of relevant experience required Strong computer and technical skills AutoCAD experience is required; Civil3D and/or MicroStation is a plus LiDAR extraction experience, particularly with TopoDOT, is a plus
