Job Description
An established surveying and engineering environment is seeking a Senior Survey CAD Technician to take ownership of production work and support a consistent pipeline of projects. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in their technical abilities, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Produce survey deliverables including ALTA surveys, plats, easements, topographic surveys, and legal descriptions Process raw field data into clean, accurate Civil 3D drawings with minimal oversight Support point cloud registration and assist with LiDAR and drone data workflows Prepare clear, client-ready exhibits for engineering and development teams Coordinate with surveyors and project managers to maintain deadlines and project flow Perform QA/QC checks and proactively identify issues to ensure quality output Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, Surveying, or a related field 2+ years of relevant experience (additional experience is highly valued) Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center Experience working with point clouds, LiDAR, and/or photogrammetry (Pix4D or similar) Solid understanding of survey workflows, boundary principles, and coordinate systems Ability to work independently, manage production efficiently, and deliver consistent, accurate results Why This Opportunity Steady, diverse project workload with the ability to stay hands-on technically Flexibility in schedule with hybrid work options Exposure to modern tools, technology, and evolving survey workflows A team environment where strong producers are trusted with ownership and autonomy Clear opportunity to grow your skillset and take on more responsibility over time Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Survey CAD Manager Montgomery County, TN
