Job Description

Job Title:
Survey Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Survey Technician to enhance our team by leading in the tech space. The ideal candidate will possess 3-6+ years of surveying experience in a civil firm. This position primarily involves office work with occasional field duties. The Survey Technician will utilize field data to create cutsheets and layout plans, aiding engineers in their designs. Responsibilities Prepare cutsheets, wallchecks, finals, as-builts, boundaries, topographies, and field stakeouts. Focus primarily on new construction projects for large parcels of land. Assist field coordinators in preparing work for crews. Schedule field crews as necessary and perform field survey duties when required. Participate in at least one continuing education class in accordance with company policies. Essential Skills 3-6+ years of experience as a Survey Technician in a CAD-based office role. Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D software (Carlson is a plus). Experience in land surveying, data management, maps, layouts, ALTA, and topographic surveys. Ability to read blueprints and contract documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in both field surveying and engineering design is advantageous. Familiarity with boundary survey software and topographic survey processes. Work Environment The team focuses on residential communities and commercial projects across various phases. The office environment is dynamic and fast-paced, promoting flexible schedules. The team consists of 36 members divided into four teams supporting diverse project types. Employees benefit from skill enhancement training, three weeks of PTO, and 10 paid holidays. After 90 days, there is an option for a hybrid work schedule. A 'head down' approach and inquisitive mindset are valued in the workplace. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
