Role:
Do you want to be part of a team that serves your community, researches historic records, and solves challenging problems? We are now hiring a Survey Technician! The right candidate will be a responsible, detail-oriented individual who enjoys learning & delivering quality surveying services to customers in engineering & real estate. How You'll Contribute:
Process raw field data (GPS, conventional, leveling) using Leica Infinity, Trimble Business Center or StarNet Perform computer-aided drafting of survey data, including plotting field data and deed record information. Prepare survey maps and plats in AutoCAD, and write field note descriptions for review by Registered Professional Land Surveyor Perform coordinate geometry calculations and create topographic maps. Analyze survey field data for accuracy and assist in the determination of land property boundaries. Research survey, county deed and tax appraisal records to determine ownership.
How You're Qualified:
Two or more years of experience in surveying or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in surveying or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience. Driver's license
