Discover an exciting opportunity for a Survey CAD Technician in Toano, Virginia with a well-established site development contractor known for utility installations, grading, road work, and using advanced technology like in-house surveying, drone data, and GPS machine control. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Survey CAD Technician position include: Advanced experience with CAD and AutoCAD software Experience converting 2D plans into 3D models for use in Trimble GPS systems Knowledge of Trimble Business Center is preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Create surface and solid CAD models based on project plans and client specifications Review and revise CAD models to resolve discrepancies with project management and field teams Calculate earthwork and surface takeoff quantities from design data Synchronize model data to deliver accurate files to machines and rovers in the field
Salary :
$60,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
