Job Summary Picture Build is looking for a detail-oriented Field Measurer to visit residential and commercial job sites and capture accurate measurements, site conditions, and documentation that our design, estimating, and installation teams rely on. This role is the critical first step in every project the quality of your measurements directly shapes the accuracy of our designs, proposals, and material orders. Beyond fieldwork, you'll be at the office using our CAD/design software to turn raw measurements into finished digital site maps, growing into a full-time role as you build these skills. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a sharp eye for detail, and takes pride in getting things exactly right. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of experience in field measuring, land surveying, construction, landscaping, or a related trade preferred. Comfortable reading site plans, blueprints, plats, or landscape/pool design drawings. Experience with measurement tools such as laser measures, tape measures, or total stations. Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn Picture Build's CAD/design software; prior familiarity with CAD, Measure Square, or similar software is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Clear, professional communication skills for client-facing interactions. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain. Preferred Experience Background in landscape architecture, hardscape installation, pool construction, or civil/land surveying. Familiarity with measuring equipment, able to drive to jobsites.
