North Coast Engineering is seeking the right person for the position of: Field Survey Crew North Coast Engineering, Inc. has been providing high-quality civil engineering, surveying, and land planning services across the Central Coast, from the rolling hills of Paso Robles Wine Country to the North Coast, for over 40 years. This position operates under the supervision of a Licensed Land Surveyor. Responsibilities

• Field survey work for boundary
• Topographic and construction surveys
• Research and calculations for boundary surveys
• Calculations for construction staking Desired Skills
• Field/office surveying methods, practices, techniques, legalities, and mathematical procedures for surveying.
• Elementary principles and practices of surveying for engineering projects, including construction calculations
• Understand and interpret legal descriptions and record survey maps
• Understanding and interpretation of engineering plans, diagrams, and notes
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Perform complex mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy
• Trimble Business Center, Trimble Access, Survey Pro data collection software, and Trimble survey equipment
• Technical understanding of computers and survey equipment
• Valid California Driver's License Physical Job Requirements

• Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction).
• Acceptable hearing (with or without correction).
• May involve extended standing, walking, climbing, balancing, and kneeling periods.
