You will manage projects from start to finish. You will guide field crews and office staff. You will also talk with clients and city agencies. Your job is to keep projects on time and on budget.

What You Will Do Lead the
Team:
Guide and train survey staff and field crews.
Manage Projects:
Watch schedules, project budgets, and daily worker plans.
Write Proposals:
Create job cost estimates and project contracts.
Check CAD Work:
Review maps for boundaries, titles, and subdivisions.
Process Paperwork:
Send project files to cities and counties for approval. Talk to
Partners:
Chat with clients, builders, and government workers.
Run Math:
Do boundary math, legal descriptions, and staking calculations.
What You Need License:
You must have a California Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
Experience:
At least 5 years of land mapping work.
Leadership:
At least 3 years of leading a team.
Rules Knowledge:
Strong understanding of California land laws and city rules.
Software Skills:
Good skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
Pay:
$105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
