No experience or education needed! We need a surveying crew member that is 21+ (per our insurance) and is a good driver with license and clean driving record. Being a crew member at B&J means arriving early to the office every day and driving to sites where you will be outside in the elements staking homes. You do not need surveying skills as we will train you, but this is a great career. Pay typically starts at $20/hr for training with 1.5x overtime for a training period. We offer twice annual raise/bonus opportunities and full benefits, easily reaching the posted salary range based on performance. B&J Surveying, Inc. is a surveying company established in 1985 by the current and sole owner. We provide services for home builders. We are in the Centennial/ Tech Center area and are looking for a field crew member to start immediately in the field staking houses and learning how to survey. This job involves being outdoors every day in all weather conditions. The ideal Survey Crew Party Member/ Field instrument operator is:

• Able to do basic math, geometry and slope calculations
• Has a high school diploma and driver's license
• Able to show up to work timely early in the morning (normally crews are out by 7am) and work until the job is done
• normally crews are done by 3, but can be later
• Experienced with staking homes and foundations, is familiar with the home building process
• Unafraid of working in all weather conditions
• Has a high level of attention to detail and ability to determine conformance with plan This has the potential to turn into a 6-figure professional position, and we will train and offer education opportunities.

A two or four-year degree in an applied sciences degree and/or surveying experience is recommended if you are looking forward to learning and gaining responsibility to eventually become a Crew Chief or licensed land surveyor We offer paid vacations, holidays, medical, dental, full benefits, etc. Salary is negotiable, pay is hourly with 1.5x pay for overtime, and we offer twice annual raise and bonus opportunities.
