Field Data Collector Job Duties:

Using Radio Detection, RD 8100 or

RD 8200 SG

locate equipment, locate within private and/or public right of ways the existing natural gas main and fiber optic conduits. On the job training will be required for these duties. Using the Point Man survey data collector and Emlid receiver to survey (GPS) within private property and/or public right of ways existing utilities locate marks (flags and paint marks), including storm water infrastructure and any above ground appurtenances including but not limited drainage structures, light poles, overhead electric poles, water valves, sewer valves, telephone and fiber optic service cabinet/pull boxes, survey boundary points for engineering design purposes. On the job training will be required for these duties. Field Data Collector will also be required to perform field stakeouts for construction purposes. On the job training will be required for these duties. Field Data Collector will need to learn how survey data from the Point Man software and create a DWG/DGN Cad design file for our design team. On the job training will be required for these duties. Field Data Collector will need to have minimum computer competency to be able to use Email, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Power Geopak and Auto Cad software. On the job training will be required for these duties.
