Monday - Friday ( Some Saturdays ) Full Time Position. Salary Information $75,000+DOE• Key Functions Travel to locations and select known reference points to determine the exact location of important features Establish fixed points for use in machine control Establish TBMs for fixed structures construction Properly maintain surveying instruments to ensure accuracy Knowledge of GPS software, total station, site level, and equipment used to facilitate surveying of heavy civil construction projects Compute measurements and interpret plans in order to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of roads, bridges and other structures Look for evidence of previous boundaries to determine where right of way lines and construction limits are located Record the results of surveying and verify the accuracy of onsite control points Provide as-builts of piles, monitoring locations and other structures when needed Required Qualifications Minimum five (3) years of surveying experience.
