Job Description
Independent survey party chiefs — Ocala / Gainesville area (1099, paid per survey) Surveyfy is a licensed Florida surveying & mapping firm (Miami) adding independent field crews in Central and North Florida. Field work only — our Florida PSMs are in responsible charge; we draft and seal.
Pay note:
the daily range shown is an estimate for comparison only. We pay per completed survey, not hourly — base rate for a standard 100x100 platted residential lot, more for larger lots, unplatted parcels, topo or rural work. A typical day is 3-6 surveys. How it works- We send the job packet: deed, plat, prior surveys, control and our code list.
- You send back: coded point file, raw file, field notes, monument photos and a sketch.
- Jobs grouped by area so your day fills up. Weekends and after-hours welcome. You take the jobs and days that fit your schedule.
- Paid weekly by ACH or Zelle once we receive your data. What you need
- Your own RTK GPS (FPRN is fine) and a total station or robot. Truck.
- 2+ years as a party chief in Florida, comfortable with platted and sectional boundaries.
- W-9 and proof of insurance (GL; workers' comp exemption if you work solo).
