Surveyor in Training I

Surveyor in Training I (SIT) - Tavares, FL! Halff has an opening for a new graduate land surveyor in training, with opportunities to learn and work with licensed Florida PSMs and seek future survey licensure.

What you will do:

Organize research for field surveys. Join and assist field crews as needed. Reduce field observations. Prepare data for drafting. Assist the PSM by preparing Survey Reports. Prepare deed sketches. Prepare COGO calculations. Assist the PSM with the Boundary and Right of Way Analysis.

What you will need:

0-2 years' experience in the field or office directing survey crew for boundary, topographic, site, utility, or construction surveys. Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus. FDOT, Public Works, or Land Development survey experience is a plus. Experience with Civil 3D is a plus. Experience with Trimble Business Center is a plus. Bachelors in Geomatics or equivalent survey-focused degree for licensure required. Ability to pass a drug and background screen.
