FIELD CHIEF Summary:

Lead field surveys, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities:

Manage crew, interpret plans, operate advanced instruments (GPS, total stations). Perform calculations, troubleshoot, ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications:

Min. 2 years surveying experience, 2 years in supervisory/Field Chief role. Proficient in modern surveying equipment, principles, boundary law. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with clean record.

INSTRUMENT MAN

Summary:

Operate and maintain surveying instruments for precise data collection.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain total stations, GPS, levels. Record data, assist Field Chief, perform daily checks. Ensure equipment security and adhere to safety.

Qualifications:

Min. 2 years experience as Instrument Man or related. Proficiency in total stations, GPS, levels. Basic understanding of surveying principles. Strong attention to detail, physical stamina. Valid driver's license preferred.

RODMAN Summary:

Entry-level position assisting the survey crew.

Responsibilities:

Hold prism pole, clear brush, carry equipment. Assist with setup/breakdown, basic measurements. Learn surveying techniques, adhere to safety.

Qualifications:

No prior experience required; willingness to learn essential. Ability to follow instructions, work in a team. Good physical condition, able to work outdoors. Strong work ethic, reliability. Valid driver's license preferred. General Requirements for All Positions Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Effective communication skills. Willingness and ability to travel on short notice and work extended periods as needed.
