Greengard, Inc. is a highly respected Engineering and Land Surveying firm located in Lincolnshire, IL. We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at the end of 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced survey professional who enjoys working independently and performing a variety of field surveying assignments. The Survey Crew Chief will operate primarily as a one-person crew and will be responsible for completing accurate and efficient field work. Job Responsibilities Perform Boundary Surveys Perform Topographic Surveys Perform ALTA Surveys Perform Construction Staking Perform As-Built Surveys Operate Trimble robotic total station equipment Utilize GPS surveying equipment Collect and document accurate field data Maintain field notes and survey records Work independently while meeting project schedules and quality standards Travel to various project sites as required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of land surveying experience Experience operating Trimble robotic survey equipment Knowledge of GPS surveying equipment is a plus Valid driver's license Ability to work independently as a one-person survey crew Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Compensation & Benefits Greengard, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package , including: Medical insurance Dental insurance Life insurance 401(k) program About Greengard, Inc.
