Position Summary The Behavioral Health (BH) Veteran Needs Assessment Representative will provide project support to CrescentCare Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in conducting a needs assessment of current CrescentCare patients with current or former military experience. The overarching goal of the position is to assist with survey design, administration, and interpretation to better understand the needs of this population so that services can be aligned using meaningful input from patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
(Major Functional Areas of Responsibility) Utilize unique qualification of "lived experience" as a person who has served in the military to provide information on the purpose of the survey to potential survey respondents. Provide input on survey questions. Provide support/assistance with administration of surveys. Provide input on de-identified survey results.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Deliverables:
Specific Activities and Key Tasks) Contact CrescentCare patients identified as having current or former military experience; provide information on the purpose of the survey. Provide instructions on the methods available to complete the survey. Offer assistance completing the survey for those who are unable to complete the survey independently. When survey collection is complete, collaborate with CrescentCare staff who are also involved with this special project to provide input on de-identified results including trends in the data and areas that are potential service gaps, areas for enhancement/improvement, and areas of strength. Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or High school Equivalency Test (HiSET) Work Experience Minimum of one year of military service Other Ability to work 4-8 hours per week for 2-3 months 21 years of age or older
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Extended periods of sitting required Work is office-based, on-site at CrescentCare
