Salary:

With the Jobot Get a Job, Give a Job program, we donate to help folks get a job every time we place someone in a new job Job Details Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys Review survey data, plats, legal descriptions, and title documents Prepare and certify survey drawings, maps, and reports Conduct deed and land record research Manage multiple survey projects from planning through delivery Coordinate with engineers, developers, municipalities, and clients Supervise field crews and survey technicians Ensure accuracy and compliance with state and local surveying regulations Utilize GPS, robotic total stations, drones, and other survey technology Process field data and prepare survey deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software Establish survey control and construction staking layouts Review and sign survey documents as the Licensed Professional Land Surveyor Assist with project proposals, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication Mentor junior surveyors and support staff Perform and oversee a variety of land surveying projects. Prepare and review boundary, topographic, and statutory surveys. Complete property line closures and boundary determinations. Research deeds, land records, survey documents, and title information. Prepare sketches, maps, legal descriptions, and survey reports. Verify survey data, calculations, and field information. Coordinate with engineering teams to provide existing conditions and construction support. Develop project schedules and ensure survey deliverables meet client expectations and deadlines. Maintain project documentation and quality standards. Attend municipal meetings or public hearings as required. Ensure compliance with applicable surveying regulations and industry standards. Qualifications Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Massachusetts. 5+ years of professional land surveying experience. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey. Strong understanding of boundary analysis, legal descriptions, and survey calculations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
