Position Summary Join a well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm with over 50 years of experience serving Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field survey operations for boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveying projects. We utilize modern Leica robotic total stations, GNSS/GPS equipment, and Carlson software to complete a wide variety of surveying projects. Requirements Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience. Minimum 2 years of experience leading a survey crew. LSIT or PLS, or actively working toward licensure, is preferred. Valid driver's license required. Job Responsibilities Lead and supervise a field survey crew. Operate and set up Leica robotic total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, data collectors, GIS equipment, and other surveying instruments. Perform boundary, topographic, construction stakeout, and as-built surveys. Conduct reconnaissance and recover property line and survey control markers. Navigate wooded and difficult terrain while carrying survey equipment. Maintain and properly care for surveying equipment. Work outdoors in various weather conditions. Prepare clear and accurate field notes documenting all phases of work. Communicate field progress and survey results with the Survey Manager and office staff. Qualifications Experience as a Survey Crew Chief or Project Surveyor. Experience with robotic total stations and

surveying equipment. Leica equipment experience is preferred. Ability to clearly communicate with field crew members, project managers, and office staff. Ability to lift and carry surveying equipment through difficult terrain. Ability to work safely in inclement weather conditions.
